Our goal from Day One is to create a marketplace where students can find what they need to ace the exam and where tutors have a place to host their crash courses, live sessions, and study materials.
This is a place where all transactions are handled securely.
If a student can’t find material for a class at their university, send us the course code and we’ll find a tutor ASAP.
If a tutor is struggling to find students, reach out and we’ll promote you on the front page.
Our goal is to help bring the right people together. If there’s any way we can do that which isn’t listed, DM the TutorSpaces account in the app, via email, or on social media and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen.

Special Beta Launch Invitation
TutorSpaces will launch its beta program at Concordia University for the Fall 2024 semester. We invite you to participate in the beta program by hosting or accessing live crash courses, video content, and note content.
As part of our beta, the first 50 students who sign up will receive bonus credits of $20 each.
Concordia tutors who sign up will only pay a 5% commission on sales to cover processing and hosting costs.

TutorSpaces allows anyone to host tutoring content, provided that they adhere to our terms of service. TutorSpaces also reserves the right to remove any tutor page if it’s clear that the tutor is misrepresenting their knowledge of the material. That said, our goal is to enable access to tutoring as possible, both for students and tutors.
Signing up as a tutor is easy. Just fill out the form below with your contact information and the classes you want to tutor. Once approved, you’ll be able to set up your profile on TutorSpaces and begin posting content and scheduling live streams.
To sign up as a student, just create your profile. From there, you can start searching for tutors and subscribing to them.
Content and crash courses are offered either on a free or paid-for basis. In order to pay for content, students purchase credit from TutorSpaces, which they then use to pay for content.
Subscriptions give you access to exclusive content and subscriber-only live spaces. To subscribe to a tutor, just click their profile's subscribe button. Subscriptions are free, but you must add a credit card to subscribe to tutors and make purchases.
No, tutors can also offer pay-per-view content and free content for all users. You only need to subscribe to access live sessions and exclusive content.
Tutors will post scheduled crash courses on their profile, so you’ll know when one is coming as soon as it’s scheduled.
Students can direct message tutors at any time to request content and crash courses at different times or on specific topics.
TutorSpaces does not offer one-on-one tutoring. We are a platform for content and live crash courses and reviews. That said, you can always DM a tutor to start a live session, and if the tutor agrees and no one else shows up, it will be a one-on-one session.
Tutors Spaces offers a layer of security to both tutors and students by ensuring that payment is collected and remitted once both parties have fulfilled their obligations to one another. This means tutors can be sure they get paid for their work, and students can be sure they get what they paid for.
TutorSpaces offers a reporting feature and does not hand off funds to a tutor until a given crash course is complete.
TutorSpaces collects payments for tutors from students and remits it to them on request, minus TutorSpaces' commission. This means there is no limit to how much tutors can earn.
TutorSpaces will collect between 15-20% commission. However, as part of our special beta promotion, we are offering a reduced commission rate of 5% for the Fall 2024 semester.
Students can request refunds on crash courses where the tutor either did not show up or completely misrepresented their knowledge on a topic.
Yes! TutorSpaces has a comment system in place that will allow you to leave reviews on crash courses and content. Comments are the best way to show your appreciation for a tutor and to help the TutorSpaces community grow.
TutorSpaces will have community tools, including a Discord server and subreddit. There you’ll be able to better connect with students, tutors, and the TutorSpaces team!
If you see a tutor that specializes in the class you want content for, send the tutor a DM. Otherwise, either post in our Discord or subreddit, or feel free to message us directly here.
Yes, you must be subscribed to access a tutor’s live stream. To subscribe, you must add or select a credit card to use. You’re not charged anything at the moment of subscription - this just saves the card you’ll use to access the tutor’s content.
